143 (WM) Bde Personnel Recovery Unit (PRU) is responsible for the effective management and administration of those soldiers who are assigned to the Recovery Unit during a period of sickness absence.

You will now have a new Commanding Officer (CO) who will introduce himself by letter in the first instance, and by formal interview in due course. Your Commanding Officer is supported by Staff Officers and a team of highly experienced Personnel Recovery Officers.

Personnel Recovery Officers will visit you regularly whether you are in hospital or at home. They aim to monitor your progress, to maintain contact with you and to ensure appropriate resolution to your period of sickness absence.

Additionally, the 143 (WM) Bde Personnel Recovery Unit can assist units in the management of their soldiers who are sick at home in the 143 (WM) Bde AOR.
